BMW G 310 AND G 310 R| INDIA LAUNCH CONFIRMEDPosted On: June 27, 2018 By : AutoLife Team
BMW India has announced the launch date for BMW’s much awaited mid-capacity twins, the G 310 R and the G 310 GS will be launched on 18th July 2018. Bookings for both the mid-capacity twins started on 8th June 2018.
The 313cc BMW has liquid-cooled, single-cylinder unit with four valves and a DOHC cylinder head which chunks out 34hp of power and 28Nm of torque on both bikes and is paired to a six-speed gearbox. The bike comes with a reversed-cylinder design that slopes towards the rear wheel, instead of the conventional engine layout as similar to Apache RR310.
Both the bikes ride on 41mm inverted front forks and a rear monoshock, the GS gets 180mm of travel up front, which is 40mm more than the 310 R. The GS’ rear monoshock, at 180mm, also gets 49mm more travel than the 310 R. Both the motorcycles feature dual-channel ABS as standard, on 300mm front and 240mm rear discs.
