LAUNCHED: Hyundai i20 Active and Elite i20

IMG_2489Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd, the sole authorised dealer of Hyundai cars in Nepal, has pulled  the wraps of two of the most-awaited products in the Nepalese automobile market: the Elite i20 and the i20 Active.
1Designed at Hyundai Motor’s Design Centre Europe in Russelsheim, Germany, both product follow the company’s ‘Fluidic Sculpture 2.0’ design language.3The Elite i20 has been priced from Rs 27,96,000-Rs 33,96,000 while the i20 Active is priced between Rs 32,56,000-Rs 43,56,000.

Hyundai i20 Active:

The i20 Active is the crossover-style version of the Hyundai i20.  This funky yet functional beauty comes with a new hexagonal grille with chrome surround which lends a bold image to the i20 Active. The Chrome- coated door handles lends a premium look. Similarly, the silver finish roof rails enhance the rugged and sporty looks of i20 Active. Blackened Cladding on wheel arches and side lends tough & macho SUV exterior looks to the Active. The rear spoiler provides better aerodynamics at higher speeds while complimenting its sporty looks & comes with stop lamp for higher safety.18697The i20 Active is powered by two performance-packed, proven and reliable engines -1.2L Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine and 1.4L U2 CRDi diesel engines. The 1.2L Kappa petrol engine makes 83 bhp of power at 6000 rpm while peak torque measures 113 Nm at 4000 rpm. Similarly, the diesel variant delivers 89bhp of power and 219Nm of torque. The petrol version of i20 Active is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission while the diesel version offers 6-Speed Manual Transmission.10The vehicle comes loaded with features like Anti-Pinch Power Windows which automatically rolls down when an obstacle is detected, thereby offering advanced safety, Headlamp Escort Function which allows the headlamp to be in ON condition for a limited time after the car is locked to illuminate the path if parked at a dark location, Impact sensing door unlock which in case of collision the door get unlocked automatically to allow safe & quick exit to passengers, Rear defogger lines which  removes the mist on rear windshield during foggy or rainy weather conditions to ensure proper visibility of traffic from rear and Smart Pedal.

The i20 Active features an Anti-lock brake system (ABS) and Dual airbags, including driver and passenger airbags for better safety.

Hyundai Elite i20: 

The Elite i20 also follows Hyundai’s Fluidic 2.0 design language.The front fascia has been redesigned with a 3-D hexagonal grille, sweptback headlamps, trapezoidal fog lamps, LED side mirrors while the rear gets new wraparound lights. The higher-trim models also get automatic headlamps, auto folding wing mirrors, rear parking sensors, rear view camera and auto climate control. On the safety front, the Sportz trim gets driver airbag and ABS although front passenger airbag is only available on the Asta trim. The same engines from the current i20 model will continue to power the Elite i20. The 1.2-litre Kappa VTVT engine produces 83bhp of power and 115Nm of torque.  The Elite i20  features an Anti-lock brake system (ABS) and Dual airbags, including driver and passenger airbags for better safety.1517141211Click HERE  for Variants and Pricing
