Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt.Ltd, the sole authorized distributor of Hyundai motors in Nepal has handed over 25 units of Hyundai Traffic Surveillance Support Camera to District Police Office, Kaski, Nepal as a part of its CSR “Safe Move”.


Hyundai Motor Company organizes its CSR activities into six central theme of its campaign “Dream Move, Next Move, Easy Move, Green Move, Safe Move and Happy Move”. Each move reflects the company’s business philosophy in the contribution it makes in the society. Safe Move is one of the key pillars of Hyundai’s global CSR campaign on Traffic Safety Campaign. Under the aegis of “Safe Move”, Mr. Ganesh Bahadur Shrestha, Chairman of Laxmi Group handed over 25 units of Dash Cam to Mr. Kamal Singh Bam (DIG – District Police Office, Kaski,  Nepal).

This is a dashboard camera which can continuously records the view through a vehicle’s windscreen. It can be attached to the interior windscreen or to the top of the dashboard. This may provide video evidence in the event of an accident. It helps to guard against traffic rules violation and insurance fraud, where they provide additional evidence. Additionally, it will also help in studying the traffic management system.

Talking about the features, it can record video upto 24 fps with the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixel with sound and it supports the memory card up to 64 GB which can shoot video for 24 hours continuously. It comes with a built-in GPS which help to show the speed of the vehicle with real-time Map. It has a wide angle lens that can cover approximately 132 degrees view from the wind screen.
