Honda has rolled out its new seven-seat crossover, the BR-V, in the Indonesian market at a starting price of IDR 26.5 Million (approx. Nrs 17.4 lakhs). Unveiled at the 2015 GIIAS and IIMS in Indonesia, the Honda BR-V is the third all-new product developed by HRAP (Honda R&D Asia Pacific) in Thailand.Available in SMT, EMT, ECVT and E Prestige CVT trims, the BR-V is powered by a highly refined and efficient 1.5-litre 4-cylinder i-VTEC® engine producing a peak 120 bhp of power and 145 Nm of torque. Built on ‘Active Solid Motion’ design, the all-new Honda BR-V measures 4455mm in length, 1735mm in width, 1650mm in height, 201 mm in ground clearance and has a wheelbase of 2660mm, which makes it longer than the Hyundai Creta and Renault Duster. The Honda BR-V features a muscular front with projector headlights, LED tail lights in C shape design, 16 inch alloys, roof rails, and new 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels with 195/60 tires. Interior highlights include a dual-tone dashboard, touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and rear parking camera display. Standard safety features include airbags, ABS, EBD, and Hill Start Assist.Confirmed to be launched in India by mid-2016, we hope the BR-V will be unveiled in the Nepali market by late 2016.
