LAUNCHED IN NEPAL: ALL-NEW HYUNDAI VERNA

The new 2017 Hyundai Verna has went on sale in the Nepalese market. Launched at an introductory price tag of Rs 42.96 Lakhs for the EX variant, Rs 44.96 Lakhs for the SX variant and Rs 46.96 Lakhs, the 5th gen Hyundai 2017 Verna is only available in a 1.6 litre Dual VTVT petrol engine option. The Best-in-Class powerful 1.6 litre Dual VTVT petrol engine offers 123PS power with high fuel efficiency.

Built on the advanced high strength steel (AHSS) body, the next-gen Hyundai Verna  is engineered to deliver superior ride and handling for utmost driver confidence and enthusiastic driving experience. Based on the K2 platform, the new Hyundai Verna takes design inspiration from its older sibling – the new Hyundai Elantra.

Hyundai says the body structure with Hot Stamping Applications enables the sedan for superior performance and unmatched safety ensuring Best-in-Class body rigidity, Structural Changes and Crash Performance.

At the front, it gets projector headlamps and LED DRLs along with chrome accented grille. At the rear, it gets LED tail lamps as on Elantra. The new Verna also gets shark fin antenna as on the Creta.

On the inside, it features a two-tone dashboard with chocolate brown colored top dash and a beige lower half. It also gets a sunroof and rear windshield blinds along with cruise control, rear AC vents, ventilated seats, and fold down hand rest for rear passengers.The new Verna gets 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, USB, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto support.

On the safety front, the new Verna gets 6-airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC). The car is built on an all-new K2 platform which enables precise tuning of key suspension components for enhanced cornering and high-speed stability. The car also has rear parking cameras.

The new Verna is available in 5 colours: Phantom Black, Sleek Silver, Fiery Red, Stardust, Siena Brown and Polar White.

Like other Hyundai cars, the new Verna comes with 3 years warranty, 4 years free servicing along with free road tax for current fiscal year and ownership transfer.
