LAUNCHED: Yamaha Fascino in India

India Yamaha Motor has launched an all-new scooter called ‘Fascino’ in the Indian market. According to the company, the ‘Fascino’ is designed especially for the Indian youth that, today, represents more than 50% of the Indian population and it is based on a “rich and classy modern retro” design.

fascinoblueThe stylish Fascino is powered by an air-cooled, 4-stroke 113cc “BLUE CORE” engine with a continuous variable transmission (CVT). The engine generates 7 bhp of power and 8.1 Nm of torque.

The Fascino features a lightweight body with glamorous design and offers an economy of 66 kmpl.   The weight of only 103 kg (the lightest Yamaha scooter introduced in India) contributes to both fuel efficiency and ease of handling in the Fascino. Yamaha-Fascino-Red-1024x894The overall length of the scooter is 1815mm, its width 675mm and height is 1120mm respectively. It has a wheelbase of 1270 mm and ground clearance of 130mm. Braking is done via drum brakes at both the ends.

The scooter is available in 5 colours including a trendy matte chromatic colouring to satisfy the needs of trend-conscious young riders.  The scooter is priced at INR 52,500.
