The 2014 Mahindra Scorpio has finally been caught without wraps as the Indian launch date inches closer. One look at the face-lifted 2014 Scorpio, and you will notice lots of changes.
The styling has been updated on both the front and rear ends. Apart from a refreshed dashboard to a GPS-assisted touchscreen centre console, the new Scorpio also gets new headlights with DRL LEDs, LED tail-lights and new bumpers. Other striking features include fully automatic climate control, new steering wheel with cruise and audio controls, voice assist, follow me home and lead me to vehicle headlamps, new suspension, Anti-roll bars, and 17” alloy wheels to name a few.
However, the new Mahindra Scorpio will retain the same 120bhp 2.2-litre mHawk turbo-diesel engine from the previous model. The upcoming Scorpio will receive Mahindra’s newly developed 320MT five-speed transmission gearbox unit which, according to the company, shifts much better than before.
The SUV is scheduled for an official unveil on September 25 in India.
