#Only In Dubai : Exotic Cars Of Dubai Police ForcePosted On: November 25, 2012 By : Contributor in Autolife
“The job of law enforcement officers can be one of the toughest in the world. But looking at the exotics that the cops at the Dubai Police Force get to drive, this is one place where you could actually consider applying for the job.”
Ladies and Gentlemen, Dubai has done it once again! Just like their excessive display of financial force with engineering marvels like the Burj Al-Arab, Burj Khalifa or Palm Jumeirah, the wealthy emirate state is well known for its multi-millionaire petrolheads who drive around in some of the world’s finest vehicles. Well, Dubai’s reputation for extravagance now applies to its Police force as well. Not to be outdone, the city’s officers have managed to step it up a notch with what is the coolest and most exotic police car fleet in the world that we have come across.
Having cars from the likes of Dodge Interceptor, Toyota Fortuner, Nissan Xterra, BMW 5 Series, Mercedes Benz C-Class, Ford Explorer, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, KIA Mohave, etc lined up in the driveway already makes for a great police car fleet. But, Dubai being Dubai, they have shifted gears to shockingly include exotics such as the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro SS, Nissan GT-R, Audi R8, Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, BMW M6 Gran Coupe, Mercedes SL63 AMG, Ferrari FF, Bentley Continental GT Speed, Brabus Mercedes G63 AMG, Mercedes SLS AMG, and an Aston Martin One-77 into their police garages. So needless to say, the emirate’s patrolling fleet looks poised to set a world record for being the number one in style stakes and exclusivity.
The multi-million dirham police supercars have all been decked out in the striking Dubai Police green-and-white colour with the force’s crest and other graphics. The police officers patrolling these superfast cars also had to undergo special training to be capable of driving these hyper cars. Interestingly, officers driving these cars around have had to occasionally deal with people begging to arrest them for any reason, so that they can have a ride in one of the exotics. But these luxury patrol supercars aren’t just a ridiculous obsession to make the city streets safer in a stylish way. Along with fulfilling the states security initiatives, they are also intended as a tourist attraction to influence Dubai’s bid to host the Expo 2020.
The police of this famously wealthy and fast-developing Arabian state now boast a garage that rivals the collections of major collectors. But it is still unknown whether the car fleet of the Dubai Police is now complete. The Aston Martin and Lamborghini are certainly hard to top, but you never know if someone in their offices has a passion for Koenigseggs, Paganis and Bugattis.
THE BEST OF THE FLEET
ASTON MARTIN ONE-77
The Aston Martin One-77 is one of the limited edition of 77 cars, all of which have already been sold. The One-77 owned by the Dubai Police car is actually more prized as it is one of the just seven special edition Q-Series versions. The One-77 Q series with its 750bhp V12 7.3 litre engine can shoot the car from 0-100 km in only 3.5 seconds and manages a top speed of 350kmph.

Designed to exhilarate, the Audi R8 is based on the Lamborghini Gallardo platform. This is performance engineered to its fullest and The 5.2 FSI quattro engine is capable of producing 612 bhp and 550 nm of torque.
