REVEALED: FIAT ARGO, THE PUNTO SUCCESSOR?

Fiat’s Brazilian division has released images of its new B-segment hatchback, the Argo. Designed and developed in Brazil for the Latin American market, it could also be the direct replacement to the aging Punto. Shown in the picture is the sportiest ‘HGT’ spec with two-tone alloy wheels

Styling wise, the Fiat Argo gets tapered headlights with daytime running lights along with matte black grille and foglights. At the rear, the C-shaped taillights accompanied with spoiler and diffuser compliment the sporty character of the hatchback.

Reports say that the Fiat Argo’s engine options will include 1.0-litre FireFly, 1.3-litre FireFly and 1.8-litre EtorQ Evo flex-fuel units. Along with a 5-speed manual transmission, Fiat will offer the 5-speed Dualogic automated manual transmission.
