Scomadi, a classic and trendy brand carrying the history of United Kingdom, is now available in the Nepalese market. Avasha International, the sole distributor of Scomadi in Nepal, has launched two scooter models in the domestic market. The launch event was inaugurated by Mr. Laxman Rajbanshi, Member of Parliament (MP) and former speaker of house. It is the only British scooter available in the Nepalese market at the moment.


Designed and developed in England, Scomadi have evolved from being hand-built machines in Lancashire into mass produced scooters from Asia that are sold all over the world. Scomadi represents the culmination of 10 years of prototype development utilizing the experience of PM Tuning Racing Products & Scooter Innovation, with the combined knowledge of over 60 years of experience. Scomadi are aimed at providing a new era in scootering for followers of iconic Italian design.


Scomadi combines modern technology and classic design making it a “Modern Classic”. Their machine allows the true enthusiast to retain classic styling without sacrificing reliability or modern day functionality.

In the Nepalese market, the modern 125 classics are available two editions (general and limited) and seven different color options. Both editions feature dual suspension and an 11-litre fuel tank (best-in-class). While the limited edition model is available at Rs 3,50,000, the general edition is available at Rs 2,50,000. The company is also offering an attractive monthly EMI of Rs 5000 for its customers.

Scomadi has its head office located at Maharajgunj, Kathmandu and it recently opened an outlet in Pokhara too. Soon, Scomadi aims to further expand its outlets in other major cities of Nepal along with service centers.
