The first Volkswagen National Auto Gymkhana Championship which was held at Himalayan Motor Land in Dhulikhel was concluded. The event was organized by Nepal Motor Sports Club, in association with National Sports Council, Nepal Automobile Sports Association (NASA) and Kathmandu District Sports Development Committee. Total 41 participants were in action, in two different events which were Auto Gymkhana Championship and Free Time Lap.

Winners of the two events are as follows:

Free Time Lap Competetion – (700 Meters free drive)

1st – Sujan Ojha

2nd – Bipluck Shrestha

3rd – Sabin Shakya


Auto Gymkhana

1st – Surenda Pradhan (Qualified for Asian Auto Gymkhana Championship to be held in Indonesia,2018)

2nd – Bidur Poudel (Qualified for Nepal-India-Bhutan Tri-nation Motor Rally to be held in February,2018)

3rd – Ricky Deula

CDO of Kavrepalanchowk Mr. Shiva Prasad Simkhada, NASA President Mr.  Dasharath Rijal and Pooja International CEO, Mr. Binay Bijukchhe were there to distribute the prizes to the winners.
