Life Automobiles, authorised director of Fiat vehicals in Nepal, has launched the all-new Punto Evo and Linea at the 2014 NADA Auto Show accompanied with their Punto hatchback. Both vehicals come with an introductory price of NRs 2695000 (Punto Evo) and Nrs 3475000 ( Linea) onwards.
The Punto Evo is a hot hatch taking inspiration from the Avventura Crossover, soon to be launched in India. Under the hood, the car is powered by two pairs of petrol and diesel motors. There’s a 67bhp 1.2-litre petrol, an 89bhp 1.4-litre petrol and a 1.3-litre Multijet diesel in two states of tune – 75bhp and 90bhp.
The refreshed hatchback now receives blacked out headlamps, a rounded cornered rectangular shaped grille, and a revised bumper along with trapezoidal fog-lamps with chrome-line housing.
The car also features best-in-class ground clearance and 16” alloy wheels that can handle all the pot holes uneven roads.
According to the company, it will be available in four different variants — Active, Dynamic, Emotion and Sport 93 PS. It will be available in both petrol and diesel variants.
Similarly, the company has also launched the face-lifted Linea Sedan. The updated Linea gets a restyled grille and bumper, new fog lamps, restyled rear bumper and lots of chrome on the front. There’s a new design for the alloy wheels too. The updated Linea will be available with the 112bhp, 1.4-litre T-Jet turbo-petrol motor and the 1.3-litre Multijet diesel – with its power upto 92bhp.
Besides, the company also has European glamour models adding further appeal to their presence at the show.
