The Toyota Etios Cross is basically a Liva hatchback with rugged looking body kit. It has the same ground clearance, wheelbase and turning radius. The exterior however has been given a more rugged look by the addition of plastic cladding to the sides and wheel arches, beefed up bumpers, bull bar, roof rails, skid plates, . The rear end gets a roof spoiler and diamond finish 15-inch alloys.
Under the hood is a powerful 1.5-litre petrol unit which produces 88 bhp of power and 132 Nm of torque. The gearbox is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The vehicle will be available in 7 exciting colours.
Toyota also has one of the most lavish exhibition arenas with a stylishly developed and well- lit display.
United Traders Syndicate’s Ritu Singh Vaidya (Managing Director) views on the 2014 NADA Auto Show:
This year we have the Etios Family being displayed at the NADA Show. We’re expecting good response from customers and visitors as we have an exciting range on display meeting requirements of potential customers who are willing to get their hands on a Toyota at an affordable rate. We’re also particularly excited as we’re launching the Etios CROSS at the Autoshow. It is the first time that Toyota has launched their product in such a huge platform and we hope to get lots of enquiries and bookings for the new product.
