2014 NADA Auto Show LIVE: TOYOTA

Toyota at 2014 NADA Auto Show:


United Traders Syndicate, the sole authorised distributors of Toyota vehicles in Nepal, has launched the much-anticipated Toyota Etios Cross for an introductory price of NRs 41,45,000 onwards at the NADA Auto Show. Mr Suraj Vaidya, president of UTS and Koji Nagata, general manager for the Middle-East division of Toyota Motor Corporation jointly launched the Etios Cross. The Etios Cross is accompanied with their Etios sedan and Etios Liva hatchback.

The Toyota Etios Cross is basically a Liva hatchback with rugged looking body kit. It has the same ground clearance, wheelbase and turning radius. The exterior however has been given a more rugged look by the addition of plastic cladding to the sides and wheel arches, beefed up bumpers, bull bar, roof rails, skid plates, . The rear end gets a roof spoiler and diamond finish 15-inch alloys.


Under the hood is a powerful 1.5-litre petrol unit which produces 88 bhp of power and 132 Nm of torque. The gearbox is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The vehicle will be available in 7 exciting colours.

Toyota also has one of the most lavish exhibition arenas with a stylishly developed and well- lit display.
