2022 KTM Adventure 390 unveiled

KTM has officially revealed the updates on the Adventure 390. The all-new 2022 Adventure 390 comes with major upgrades to the bodywork and features, such as the addition of two-mode traction control: street mode and off-road mode.

Design

The new Adventure 390 comes with a rally-inspired aggressive look and gets minor updates to the bodywork: the tank spoilers and rear side panels are wider than the seat, to provide for good control and to reduce wear and tear on the seat. Also, the shape of the fuel tank is optimised to offer the rider freedom of movement and better control.

As for its lights, the bike gets state-of-the-art LED lights all around: for the main headlight, tail lights, and indicators.

Engine

The 2022 KTM Adventure 390 does not get any changes to its mechanics. The bike is powered by the same 373.2cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine–mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox–that generates a power of 32 kW of power at 9000 rpm and a torque of 37 Nm at 7000 rpm.

Furthermore, the bike comes with other riding features such as ride-by-wire, slipper clutch, and so on.

Features

The new bike comes equipped with a five-inch full-colour TFT display that automatically adapts to ambient light. Furthermore, the display allows the rider to select the information they want to see on the screen, via a multi-functional menu-switch on the handlebar.

As for ergonomics and comfort, the bike comes with an adjustable windshield, tapered aluminium handlebar (featuring TFT menu switchgear), two-part seat, and rubber-inserted foot pegs.
