Bajaj Pulsar N250 and F250 launched in India

The all-new Bajaj Pulsar 250 bikes have finally been launched in India. In the Pulsar 250 lineup, the Pulsar N250 is a naked motorcycle, whereas the Pulsar F250 is a semi-faired motorcycle.

The new Pulsar flagships are priced at INR 1.38 lakh (for the N250) and INR 1.40 lakh (for the F250).

Design and features

The F250 gets the same semi-faired setup as its predecessor, F220. Bajaj has altered the motorcycle somewhat with a sharper fairing and bodywork to ensure that it feels more modern. The fuel tank and tank extensions have a more chiseled appearance. The N250 on the other hand gets a naked body, sans a windscreen and a semi-faired setup.

Both bikes in the Pulsar 250 series get a bi-functional LED projector headlamp with a position lamp. Furthermore, the bikes come with features such as gear indicator, USB mobile charging port, and clock-, fuel-efficiency, and range- indicator.

Engine

The Pulsar 250 is powered by a single-cylinder, four-stroke, SOHC oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine that is capable of producing 24.5 of power at 8750 rpm and a torque of 21.5 at 6500 rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed transmission.

Specifications

The suspension at the front is handled by a 37 mm telescopic suspension, and the rear gets a monoshock suspension with nitrox. As for the brakes, the front uses a combination of a 300 mm disc brake and a single channel ABS, while the rear gets a 230 mm disc brake.
