CF Moto to introduce the Zeeho electric scooter in Nepal

Zeeho, a sub-brand of CF Moto, is all set to debut in Nepal with the launch of a new electric scooter–the AE8. Anna International Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor of CF Moto vehicles in Nepal, is readying to launch the Zeeho AE8 scooter at the upcoming NADA EV Auto Expo.

Design and features

The AE8 is a maxi-style electric scooter that is based on a high rigid frame developed from motorcycle manufacturing. The e-scooter’s front fascia gets a ‘Mech Face’ design that features a split V-shaped LED headlight, and its body gets a semi-crossbow design that features a unibody seat (made of skin-friendly linen material).

The e-scooter comes equipped with a 5-inch LCD instrument cluster that displays information such as speed, odometer readings, battery health, range, and riding modes, among others. The e-scooter comes with other notable features such as keyless proximity unlock, side-stand detection, seat detection, smart central lock, start-stop switch, push assistance, cruise control, and anti-theft system.


Battery and specifications

The AE8 will be powered by a dual 2.2 kWh lithium-ion battery (IP67-rated) which is mated to a 12.5 kW water-cooled motor to generate a torque of 218 Nm. The company says the electric scooter accelerates as well as 250cc bikes; it can go from 0-50 kmph in 2.6 seconds. The e-scooter comes with three riding modes: Eco, Street, and Sport; and it can reach a top speed of 100 kmph in Sport mode.

The e-scooter is compatible with a 1900-watt fast charger that charges the e-scooter from 0-80% in 2 hours, and on a single charge, it provides a range of 120-190 km, depending on the riding mode.

The scooter comes equipped with an inter-communication charging technology that protects the scooter from over and under voltage, current spikes, short circuits, overheating, and reverse-connection.
