CFMOTO 250SR in Nepal | Price and Specifications

The CFMOTO 250SR (Sports Racing) has been launched in Nepal. CFMOTO, the Chinese motorcycle manufacturer, revealed the 250SR globally last year, and now, the bike has recently made an appearance here. This motorcycle is the first sports motorcycle under 250cc in Nepal brought by the authorized distributor of CFMoto motorcycles in Nepal, ANNA International Pvt. Ltd.; and it will rival the likes of Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and KTM RC 200.

The 250SR is an entry-level full-faired motorcycle sports racing motorcycle based on the same platform as the popular 250NK naked motorcycle. It thus features an aggressively engineered stance along with a unique and sophisticated design. The motorcycle is equipped with a full LED lighting system comprising a distinct eagle-eyed twin headlamp for optimum visibility, C-shaped DRLs, and side indicators. The bike’s outlook has been made vibrant with the use of sporty decals all around the body.

The motorcycle will feature a new colourful TFT display with screen brightness that auto-adjusts to ambient light and offers two interfaces: Sport and Rain Riding modes, similar to that of 250NK. The full-colour LCD instrument display offers integrated functions such as information about the rpm, gear, speed, and phone connectivity, to name a few.

Similarly, the ergonomic design allows for easy handling during street rides and commutes. And the lower handlebar positioning enhances the sport-riding experience. The combination of a lightweight body and muscular profile and the model’s racing DNA should speak to young racers. The 250SR’s suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork up front and a mono-shock at the rear. The motorcycle is equipped with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety, and it uses disc brakes on both wheels.

Propulsion is provided by a familiar powertrain: a 249.2cc liquid-cooled DOHC, single-cylinder engine (the same engine that powers the 250NK), which generates a power of 20.5 kW at 9750 rpm and torque of 22 Nm at 7500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.

The dimensions of the 250SR measure 2010×750×1080 mm (length, width, and height); the wheelbase stands at 1360 mm; the ground clearance is 135 mm; and the seat height is 750 mm. The motorcycle’s kerb weight is 135 kg and the fuel tank capacity is 12 litres. The bike can reach a top speed of 250 kmph.
