Changan Alsvin all set to be launched in Nepal

Changan is all set to debut in Nepal with the launch of the Alsvin–the sedan powered by the 1.4L BlueCore engine. To kick off things, MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, the authorized seller of Changan vehicles in Nepal, is allowing individuals to test drive the Alsvin from its pop-up showroom at Soaltee Hotel.

The vehicle gets a butterfly-styled front grille–with the upper wings extended to the dual-beam projector headlamp on either side and lower wings extended to the DRLs. On the rear, the car gets a tail light that combines a reverse lamp and fog light.

The Alsvin is powered by a 1.4L BlueCore engine that generates a power of 74 kW and a torque of 135 Nm. The engine comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Furthermore, the inside of the bonnet gets an aluminium alloy with engine-bay cladding that reduces engine noise.

The sedan comes equipped with a floating seven-inch floating infotainment system that is integrated with Human Machine Interface (HMI). For convenience, the vehicle features AC vents, parking sensor, USB charging socket, and reverse-driving display with dynamic lines and proximity alarms.

For safety, the car comes with features such as dual airbags, anti-lock brakes, three-point seat belts, ISOFIX, and a power-adjustable ORVM
