Changan Oshan X7’s right-hand drive model makes global debut

Changan has launched the Oshan X7’s right-hand drive model in Pakistan. The futuristic SUV–powered by a 1.5L turbocharged BlueCore engine–comes in two variants: the FutureSense and the Comfort.


Design

The exterior of the Oshan X7 features an elegant and sophisticated design. The SUV gets a dynamic surgeflo grille, LED lights, and 19-inch alloy wheels.

The cabin’s interiors feature ivory white faux leather seats, six-way electrically adjustable front seats, and a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster that displays information such as the vehicle’s fuel efficiency, car-distance monitoring, tyre pressure, and smart driving control. Furthermore, the SUV comes with a 10.25 capacitive touchscreen infotainment system that is compatible with both Apple Carplay and Android Auto.


Engine

The Oshan X7 is powered by a 1.5 L turbocharged (Euro VI compliant) BlueCore engine that generates 185 hp of power and 350 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 7-speed DCT. 

The SUV comes with four driving modes:  Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Custom.

Features

Oshan X7 has an HMI-enabled car diagnostic system that allows the users to run vehicle diagnostics to evaluate important vehicle parameters like fuel level, coolant level, VSC module, airbag module, and ABS module. 

The SUV comes with convenience features such as an electric panoramic sunroof, heated rear-view mirror, smart keyless-entry with push-start button, automatic AC, PM 0.1 filter system, cruise control, electronic parking, auto-hold, and rear-view camera–all of which come as standard.

Furthermore, the FutureSense comes with additional features such as dynamic radar cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, 360-degree camera, and data recorder (DVR).

For safety, the SUV comes with dual front airbags, side torso airbags, parking sensors, reverse dynamic guidelines, ABS with BA and EBD, electronic stability controls, hill-hold control, hill-descent control, immobiliser, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) .
