Dodge Unveils 2015 Charger Pursuit

Dodge has refreshed the world’s meanest police car taking recommendations from a 22-member police advisory board. The 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit is now offered with a host of pursuit-rated enhancements. The redesigned exterior gets a new grille, an aggressive looking forward-leaning fascia and projector headlamps with LED DRLs while the interior gets a mobile-command interior, with a column-mounted shifter, and police-duty front seats to accommodate belt mounted gear. Dodge also offers factory-installed Mopar uplift packages and an advanced all-wheel-drive (AWD) system for maximum performance, all-weather traction and fuel-efficiency. Other features include a new Dodge steering wheel with remappable auxiliary buttons programmed for compatibility with aftermarket police equipment and a host of other pursuit-rated instruments like sirens, additional lights, computers, cameras, radios, steel seatback inserts, and a ballistic package for driver and passenger doors etc. Dodge’s new 2015 Charger Pursuit car is available in either V8 or V6 form. The Dodge Charger Pursuit V8 is powered by a 5.7-liter HEMI V8, making 370 bhp and 528 Nm of torque. Similarly, the Charger Pursuit V6 features a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 making 292 bhp and 352 Nm of torque. Both engine variants will be available in rear and AWD forms.
