Ducati Hypermotard 950 launched in India

The Hypermotard 950 comes in two variants: the Hypermotard 950 RVE and Hypermotard 950 SP–both powered by a 937cc Testastretta engine–at a starting price of INR 12.99 lakh (for the RVE).
Design
The new Hypermotard 950 gets the same aggressive and sporty appearance as its predecessor’s. The bike comes with a wide handlebar, narrow sides, graffiti livery, and wheels with Ducati’s red trim. Also, it features a billet aluminium tank cap, carbon heat guard, and a magnesium head cover for its engine.
Engine
The Ducati Hypermotard 950 is powered by 937cc, water-cooled, L-Twin cylinder, Testastretta engine–mated to a six-speed manual transmission with Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) up/down EVO–that generates a power of 84 kW at 9000 rpm and a torque of 96 Nm at 7250 rpm.
The model also boasts magnesium clutch and alternator covers, a more lightweight clutch drum, an aluminium belt tensioner, magnesium head covers, and a wet slipper clutch with hydraulic control.

Features
The bike comes with an advanced console that features a speedometer, tachometer, trip meter, odometer, clock, and fuel gauge. The electronics package include: a Bosch ABS cornering with Slide-by-Brake function, Ducati Traction Control (DTC) EVO, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO and Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) up/down EVO, available as an accessory or as standard, on the RVE and SP versions. The Hypermotard 950 comes with three predefined riding modes – Sport, Touring, and Urban. Riders can customise their riding style and restore the parameters set by Ducati.
