The 1078cc, L-Twin cylinder, 2 valve per cylinder, Desmodromic air cooled engine rewards you with a maximum power of 100 bhp at 7500 rpm and 103 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission with straight cut gears and it has a wet clutch system that works like a race-like ‘slipper’ which reduces the destabilizing effect of the rear-end under aggressive down-shifting. On the chassis side, the main frame is the trademark tubular steel Trellis frame. The front suspension is a 43mm fully adjustable Marzocchi forks while the rear is a progressive with preload and rebound adjustable Sachs monoshock. The front gets the same triple-parabola headlight while the rear gets a LED light unit which is further enhanced by a special diffuser lens to deliver outstanding light clarity. At 188 kg, the bike rides on a pair of fabulous looking 10-spoke Pirelli Diablo Rosso II rubber tyres. The new exhaust system is a lightweight 2-1-2 system two aluminium mufflers equipped with two Lambda probes and an electronically controlled valve which results in excellent torque and engine power.
