Fiat Punto Evo Launched in India

Fiat Group Automobiles India Private Limited (FGAIPL) has rolled out the new premium hatchback Punto Evo in India. The Evo is the latest generation of the Punto hatchback, which was launched in 2008. The new Punto Evo comes loaded with a host of first-in-class features like premium upholstery, leather wrapped steering wheel, piano-finish centre console, a new stereo system, all four auto down power windows, dual stage driver side airbag, smart wipers and 16” alloys, among others. Other striking features include automatic climate control and rear AC vents. The Punto Evo comes in four engine options – two in petrol and diesel each. There’s a 67 bhp 1.2 –litre petrol and an 89 bhp 1.4 –litre petrol, and a 1.3 –litre Multijet diesel engine in two states of tune – 75 bhp and 90 bhp. Power will be distributed through a five-speed gearbox. The vehicle is priced between INR 4.55- 7.19 lakh.
