Foton Motors set to launch the Tunland’s E+ variant in August
Posted On: July 14, 2022 By : AutoLife TeamAfter finding great success with the Tunland E pickup in Nepal, MAW Vriddhi Commercial Vehicle Pvt. Ltd, the authorised distributor of Foton Motor Group’s vehicles, is readying to roll out Tunland’s new variant, the E+, here. The pickup, which was launched in 2020 at a price of Rs 59.90 lakh, has already sold approximately 200 units so far.

Powering the Tunland E+ will be the same 2.0L, in-line, 4-cylinder, common-rail diesel engine with turbocharger that powered its predecessor. The pickup is capable of generating a power of 149.55 Ps at 3600rpm and a torque of 320 Nm between 1800 and 3000rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
The company claims the Tunland E+ represents everything and ‘more’ that customers demand from such models. While the pickup’s mechanical specifications have remained the same, the vehicle is expected to come with more convenience and safety features than in the previous models.
