Foton Motors launches the Tunland E+ at Rs 60.90 lakh

After finding great success with the Tunland E pickup in Nepal, MAW Vriddhi Commercial Vehicle Pvt. Ltd, the authorised distributor of Foton Motor Group’s vehicles, has launched Tuland’s new variant, the E+, here. The new double-cabin pickup gets the same mechanics as its predecessors, but the vehicle comes with new design and additional features. The price for the Tunland E+ is set at Rs 60.90 lakh.

Design and features

The Tunland E+ model’s design remains largely the same as the previous Tunland models. However, the new pickup’s front facia comes with a three-lined chrome grille with the “Foton” logo at the centre, projector headlamps with integrated indicators, and LED DRLs.

The new pickup comes with convenience features such as keyless entry, touchscreen infotainment system, power steering, power windows, air conditioner, heater, tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel, electrically adjustable rear-view mirror, parking sensors, and reverse parking camera.

For safety, the double-cabin pickup comes with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, central locking, and child safety lock.

Furthermore, the pickup is offered with premium accessories such as running boards, clampers, anti-rollover bars, and bed liners.

Powering the Tunland E+ will be the same 2.0L, in-line, 4-cylinder, common-rail diesel engine with turbocharger that powered its predecessor. The pickup is capable of generating a power of 149.55 Ps at 3600rpm and a torque of 320 Nm at 18000-3000rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
