Great Wall Motors Nepal to launch top variant of Haval Jolion
Posted On: September 14, 2021 By : Shuva Raj KhatriGreat Wall Motors (GWM) Nepal, after launching two variants of the Haval Jolion in July — the starting variant (MT) and the high variant (AT) — will soon be launching its top variant in the country.

Design
The Haval Jolion has a sleek design featuring LED headlamps with split-design DRLs, and c-shaped LED tail-lights. The SUV, standing on 18-inch aluminium alloy wheels, features a panoramic sunroof, shark-fin aerial antenna, and roof rails at the top.
The SUV comes with a multifunction steering wheel featuring three modes (light, comfort, and sport), a paddle shifter, and a 2-way manually adjustable provision. Among the seats are a 6-way electrically adjustable driver seat and a 2-way manually adjustable front passenger seat. The rear seats are arranged with 60-40 splits.
Performance
The Haval Jolion’s propulsion is provided by a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that is mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The engine generates an output of 110 kW at 5600-6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 220 Nm at 2000-4400 rpm.
Features
The dashboard of the Haval Jolion’s top variant features a 12.3-inch smart touch-screen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. The other convenient features of the SUV are a push-button start, keyless entry, anti-theft immobiliser, speed-sensing central-locking, power-adjustable door mirrors (electric), wireless charging, dual-zone automatic air-conditioning, heads-up display, and automatic windshield defogger.

Safety Features
The SUV comes with safety features such as six omni-directional airbags, 360-degree view, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, seat belts with pre-tensioners, child-safety lock, ESP, ABS, driver-drowsiness detection, second collision mechanism (SCM), blind-spot monitoring, hill-hold control, hill-descent control, rear parking assist, traffic-jam assist, and ISOFIX.

The Haval Jolian’s top variant, says the company, consumes 8.1L fuel per 100 km and has a towing capacity of 1500 kg (braked) or 710 kg (unbraked).
