Hero Electric launches three e-scooters in Nepal

Laxmi e-mobility Pvt. Ltd, the authorised distributor of Hero electric scooters in Nepal, has made a comeback by launching three e-scooters: the Photon, the NYX, and the Optima. The e-scooters are up on display and can be taken for test rides at the newly launched Hero Electric Scooter showroom in Teku.


Hero Photon

The Photon comes equipped with a 72V battery that is capable of generating a maximum power of 1800 watt and can achieve a top speed of 45 kmph. The e-scooter takes 5 hours to fully charge via a home-charging outlet and it provides a range of 108 km on  a full charge.

The e-scooter’s notable features are the LED headlamp, digital instrument cluster, portable battery, remote lock, anti-theft alarm, alloy wheels, telescopic suspension, and regenerative braking.

Hero NYX

The NYX is equipped by a 51.2V battery that generates a maximum power of 1300 watts. The e-scooter takes approximately 4-5 hours to charge and on a full charge, which provides a range of 165 km. Its top speed is 42 kmph.

Among the scooter’s key features are a USB port, split-folding seats, in-dash bottle holder, LED headlights, digital instrument cluster, alloy wheels, and regenerative braking.

Hero Optima

Unlike other models, the Optima comes with single or double battery options. Powering the e-scooter is a 51.2V 30Ah battery that is capable of generating a maximum power of 1200 watt. The vehicle can speed up to 42 kmph. It takes 4-5 hours to charge the scooter and on a full charge, it provides a range of 82 km (single-battery) or 122 (double battery).

The Optima comes with features such as an LED headlamp, digital instrument cluster, portable battery, USB port, remote lock, anti-theft alarm, alloy wheels, telescopic suspension, and regenerative braking.

The company has revealed the prices of all three models. The Hero electric scooters in Nepal cost between Rs 2 lakh to Rs 3.10 lakh.
