Hero Glamour XTEC launched in a Nepal
Posted On: April 8, 2022 By : Ashmita KCAfter the success of the Glamour series in Nepal, Hero has launched the new Glamour XTEC in the country. The new commuter bike joins the lineup of the Glamour, the Glamour Techno, and the Super Splendor in the 125cc segment.
The XTEC gets the same mechanical specifications as its predecessor’s, but comes with updated features and technology. The Glamour XTEC comes in three colour options, at a price of Rs 2.76 lakh.
Design
The Hero Glamour XTEC gets the same commuter like body as its predecessor’s but the pillion seat has been slightly lowered, the front fascia has become slimmer, and the chequered graphics on each side of the fuel tank have been removed. The bike also gets new LED headlamps with DRLs and LED rear lamps.
Features
The XTEC gets a new digital instrument cluster, borrowed from the Xpulse 200 model, that displays readings from the speedometer, odometer, gear and fuel indicator, among others. Furthermore, the bike comes with notable features such as bluetooth connectivity, i3S technology, side-stand engine cut-off, navigation assist, and mobile charging port, and Integrated Braking System (IBS).

Engine
The new Glamour XTEC is powered by a 124.7cc, air-cooled, FI engine–mated to a 5-speed manual transmission–that is capable of generating a power of 10.7 bhp at 7500 rpm and a max torque of 10.4 Nm at 6000 rpm.
The bike comes with a 10-litre fuel tank and provides an approximate mileage of around 50 kmpl.
