Hero launches the Super Splendor Canvas Black edition in India

Hero Motocorp has launched its iconic Super Splendor Canvas Black edition in India. The newly launched model comes with a blacked-out exterior, added features, and improved fuel efficiency. The Canvas Black edition comes at a starting price of INR 77,430 lakh (for the drum variant). 

Design and features

The Super Splendor’s Canvas Edition model gets the same body as its predecessor’s. However, the commuter bike comes with a distinctive Canvas Black paint finish and gets a new 3D Super Splendor insignia. 

The new bike gets an updated digi-analog instrument cluster that displays a speedometer, fuel indicator, trip meter, and side-stand indicator, among others. And the bike comes with other new features such as an integrated USB charger, side-stand engine cut-off, and combined braking system.


Engine and specifications

The new Canvas Edition model comes powered by a 125cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine that generates 10.7 bhp at 7500 rpm and a torque of 10.6 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine, mated to a five-speed gearbox, gets an advanced fuel-injected system that helps the bike to achieve 13% better fuel efficiency than its predecessors. The new bike provides an average range of 60-68 kmpl.

The bike gets a telescopic hydraulic shock absorber at the front and on the rear is a five-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber.

Hero has launched the Super Splendor Canvas Black Edition in India at INR 77,430. The new bike might cost around Rs 2.50 lakh here.
