Hero Xpulse 200 4V launched in Nepal

NGM Hero has finally launched its most anticipated bike–the Xpulse 200 4V–in Nepal.

Since its debut in Nepal a few years ago, the Xpulse 200 2V has been received very well in the Nepali market owing to its adventure styling, dual-purpose functionality, and affordability.

Now, the Xpulse 200 4V, which is powered by a new 4V engine (BS-VI compliant), has been launched in three colours: Trail Blue, Blitz Blue, and Red Raid, at a starting price of Rs 4.50 lakh.

Design and features

The new XPulse 200 4V gets an upgraded round LED headlight at the front, which is 21 percent brighter than its predecessor. It also sees other notable changes such as new graphics and stickers, better padded seats, switchgear with trigger-style high beam button, and toothed brake pedal.

The Hero XPulse 200 4V gets a digital LCD cluster that features a speedometer, gear and eco-mode indicator, bluetooth connectivity, and  turn by turn navigation. Furthermore, the bike comes with an integrated starter/engine cut-off button, and a single-channel ABS.

Engine

The new XPulse 200 gets a 4-valve cylinder head for its 199.6cc, oil-cooled, OHC engine that generates 6% more power and 5% more torque than its predecessor, meaning both power and torque are up by 1 hp and 1 Nm, respectively. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and the internal gear ratios have been revised and tuned for smoother and more precise gear shifts.

Furthermore, the bike gets a seven-fin cooling technology that reduces the engine-heat problem faced by its predecessors.
