Hyundai India has updated its most successful SUV, the Creta, for 2022. The new Creta gets an iMT (intelligent Manual Transmission) for its 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine on the S-trim; and the company also adds a new entry model–the S+–for the variants powered with a 1.4L turbo petrol engine. Furthermore, the 2022 Creta is offered with a new denim blue colour option and all models get a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Furthermore, Hyundai has launched the Creta’s Knight edition, which is offered in its mid-spec variant, the S+, and a top-spec variant, the SX(O). The new SUV gets an all-black exterior and interior theme with red accents and comes with the 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines.

Knight edition

The Creta Knight edition’s front fascia gets a new black gloss radiator grille with red inserts and trio beam LED headlamps with crescent-shaped LED DRLs. The SUV’s front and rear skid plate, ORVMs, roof rails, and C pillar garnish also gets a black gloss finish. Furthermore, the SUV gets a ‘Knight Edition’ emblem on the tailgate.

The SUV continues to come with dual-tone (black and greige) interior and the Knight edition further gets a glossy black finish centre console, and red inserts are seen in the AC vents and seats’ stitching. 

The Knight edition is available in two variants, the S+ and the SX(O), and both are offered in two engine options: a 1.5L petrol and a 1.5L diesel engine. The S+ variant comes with a six-speed manual transmission and the SX(O) variant is offered with an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT).

Hyundai Creta Knight edition price in India

The Creta Knight edition has been launched in India at a starting price of INR 13.51 lakh, and goes up to INR 18.18 lakh.
