Hyundai Kona facelift set to be launched in Nepal

Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, has launched the all-new Kona facelift. The new EV, despite getting major changes to the exterior and interior, comes with the same battery performance.

The Kona facelift features these changes on the exterior: the front grille has been removed, the headlamps are re-designed and the DRLs have become slimmer, the 17-inch alloy wheels have been re-designed as well, and the premium trim now gets an electric sunroof.

The Kona’s interior features an eight-inch digital instrument cluster and an infotainment system of the same size. The infotainment system, which is compatible with both Apple Carplay and Android Auto, is an inch bigger than its predecessor’s.

The all-new Kona gets the same battery and motor performance as its predecessor’s. The EV will be offered in two battery options–39.2 kWh and 64 kWh–and both come paired with a permanent-magnet synchronous motor.
