Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd., the sole authorized distributor of the highly popular Hyundai Cars, is organizing annual ‘Hyundai Open Golf Tournament’ on 18th March 2017, at Glenagles designed Gokarna Golf Resort.


At a press conference organized in the Capital yesterday, Mr. Awashis Pd. Ojha, Sr. Manager – Marketing, Hyundai Nepal, said – “We are very happy and delighted to organize HYUNDAI GOLF OPEN TOURNAMENT on an annual basis in Nepal. This year’s OPEN GOLF TOURNAMENT is the Seventh edition. We are very optimistic regarding the competitiveness and attractiveness of the tournament this year, as the previous years. This type of tournament has always helped in the development and to promote the spirit of Golf sport in Nepal.”


The open tournament will be played in an “18 HOLE” on stable fold format and ¾ Handicap Format. Altogether, 100 Nepalese Golfers will be competing in the tournament. The winners of this open tournament will be announced under Title Winner, First Runner-Up, Second Runner-Up, Best Gross, Ladies winner, Senior Winner (60a nd above), Junior Winner (17 years and below), Hyundai owners category winner, Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and Most Birdies category. Meanwhile, the winner of Hole-in-one will be awarded with Hyundai Grand i10 as a prize.


Hyundai is sponsoring different Golf tournaments  worldwide, with the perspective of developing and promoting the overall golf spirit, out of which PGA Tour, Tournament of the Champions, is one of the World’s Prestigious Tournament.
