2022 Hyundai Venue launched in India
Posted On: June 16, 2022 By : Shuva Raj KhatriHyundai India has launched the new Venue for 2022. With that, the entry-level compact SUV gets the first major facelift, three years after its debut in India. The new SUV comes with major changes to the front and rear fascia and upgraded features, while the mechanics remain the same as its predecessor’s. The Venue Facelift comes in six variants, at a starting price of INR 7.53 lakh.

Design
The Venue’s 2022 version gets a redesigned front fascia. The traditional type grille has been replaced by a new parametric jewel, which is extended to the indicators–much like that of its elder sibling: the 2022 Palisade. Furthermore, the SUV gets a new set of headlights surrounded by LED DRLs. The vehicle’s side profile will remain the same, but the vehicle will come with a new set of alloy wheels, and updated ORVMs.
On the rear, the new Venue gets a horizontal LED light bar that connects the newly designed LED tail lights. Furthermore, the lower section gets a new bumper and faux skid plates.

Inside, the new SUV gets a dual-tone (black and greige) themed cabin. The driver seat is four-way adjustable and the rear seats get a two-step reclining and 60:40 split feature. The dashboard comes with a flat-bottom steering wheel with mounted control buttons, new digital instrument cluster with colour TFT MID, and a feature-loaded 8-inch infotainment system that is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The infotainment system is integrated with BlueLink technology, which provides 60+ features such as multiple-user profiles, ambient sounds of natures, 10 regional languages, climate control, weather updates, and sports updates, among others. Furthermore, the car comes connected to a Google voice assistant and Alexa.
Engine
The Venue Facelift gets the same powertrain options as its predecessor’s. The new SUV will be offered in three engine options: a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine (mated to a five-speed MT), a 1.5L diesel engine (mated to a six-speed MT), and a 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine–paired with either a six-speed MT/iMT or a seven-speed DCT.
The compact SUV comes with three driving modes: Normal, Eco, and Sport.
