Joy e-bike to launch four electric bikes in Nepal

Joy e-bike, an India-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has showcased four new electric bike models–the Beast, Hurricane, Skyline, and Thunderbolt–at NADA Auto Expo 2022. Mahabir Automobiles Pvt. Ltd, the sole distributor of Joy e-bikes, will be launching all four models in Nepal within a month.

Design and features

The Joy e-bike models’ design is similar to that of the conventional ICE-powered sports bikes. The Beast and Hurricane get a semi-faired body with a muscular tank and split step-up seats. And the Skyline and the Thunderbolt get a full-faired body, sans a windscreen, and split-step-up seats.

The Beast and Hurricane get a 3.5-inch LCD display and the Skyline and Thunderbolt models come equipped with a 5-inch LCD display. The bikes come with other notable features such as LED headlights, USB charging port, two riding modes with reverse assist, anti-theft smart remote lock, hydraulic suspension, and dual disc brakes.
