Keeway launches the SR 250 at INR 1.49 lakh

Keeway India, a hungarian-based two wheeler company, has launched its much anticipated model–the SR 250–at the Auto Expo 2023. The SR 250 comes with a neo-retro design and is powered by a 223-cc single-cylinder engine that generates a power of 16 hp and a torque of 16 Nm. The bike comes at an introductory price of INR 1.49 lakh, which serves as a rival to the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and TVS Ronin.

Design and features

The new SR 250 gets a similar design to its smaller siblings–the SR 125. The SR 250 comes with round-shaped LED headlights, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, circular mirrors, unibody seats, and 17-inch spoke wheels. Furthermore, the bike has been offered in three colour options: Glossy White, Glossy Red, and Glossy Black.

The SR 250 comes equipped with a round-shaped full LCD digital instrument console that displays a gear position indicator, speedometer, tachometer, odometer, and trip metre (with telltale lights). And the bike’s other notable features are its LED units, Bluetooth connectivity, and dual-channel ABS.

Engine and Specifications

The new SR 250 is powered by a 223-cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, 2-valve, single-cylinder engine that generates 16 hp at 7500 rpm and a torque of 16 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox.

The SR 250 model’s suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork at both ends, and its braking system is controlled by dual disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.
