One Electric debuts in Nepal with the launch of the Kridn electric bike

One Electric, the India-based manufacturer, has debuted in Nepal with the launch of the Kridn electric bike at Rs 3.20 lakh. And White Lotus Motors has taken the role as the official distributor of One Electric bikes in Nepal.

Design and features 

The Kridn is a retro-styled roadster type motorcycle made with 80% localised high-grade materials. The electric bike comes with a round halogen headlight and indicators, Chumps-type handlebar, a prominent tank and battery compartment, and long unibody seat.

Among the bike’s notable features are its digital instrument console with optional GPS system, kill switch, three-speed switch, Saree-guard, dual disc brakes with Combined Braking System (CBS), telescopic hydraulic front suspension, and tubeless tyres.

Battery and specifications

The Kridn is powered by a 3 kWh–mated to a 5.5 kW motor–that is capable of generating a torque of 160 Nm. The electric bike comes with two riding modes: Normal and Eco. The e-bike accelerates from 0-60 kmph in 8 seconds and it can speed up to 95 kmph. 

The electric bike takes 4-5 hours to charge fully via a normal power outlet. On a full charge, the EV provides a range of 80-120 km, depending on the riding mode.
