KTM DUKE 790- MALAYSIA LAUNCH

KTM has launched the Duke 790 in Malaysia. The new Duke 790 is a replacement for the single-cylinder Duke 690. The KTM Duke 790, nicknamed “The Scalpel”, has a 799cc parallel twin with 270-degree crank engine produces an impressive 105hp and 85.4Nm of maximum torque.

Features like lean-sensitive traction control, cornering ABS, launch control, auto-blipper, quickshifter, slipper clutch and many more makes the 2018 KTM Duke 790 one of the most technologically advanced middleweight naked bikes ever built. The all-round WP Suspension package also helps with the 790’s superb handling, keeping riders glued to the road even around the sharpest corners.

The Duke 790 is built around a steel trellis frame with the engine as a stressed member. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission with a slipper clutch.

The 2018 KTM Duke 790 presents a very strong competition in which other competitors should take note off. While the overall package looks, sounds and feels promising, KTM has a monumental task of labeling the bike with the right price.

The 2018 KTM Duke 790 will be launched in India around 2019.
