KTM Duke series bikes get pricier owing to Budget 2079/80

Owing to the new taxation policy in the 2079/80 budget, the price for two-wheelers with engines larger than 200 cc continues to rise. And Hansraj Hulaschand & Company Pvt. Ltd, the authorised distributor of KTM motorcycles, has increased the price for its two Duke models–the 200 and the 250–in Nepal. The price for the 200 has been raised by Rs 20,000, while the 250 model’s price has been hiked by Rs 80,000. However, the price for the 390, the top model in the Duke series, remains unchanged.


Duke 200

The Duke 200 is KTM’s entry-level naked sports bike in Nepal. The model is popular among Nepali youths largely due to its athletic body design and powerful performance. Powering the Duke 200 is a 199cc engine that generates 26 hp of power and a torque of 19.5 Nm. Among the bike’s notable features are its revised LED headlight, new graphics, digital LCD display, 13.4-litre fuel tank capacity, Bosch ABS, and WP suspensions.

KTM 200 Duke price in Nepal

Duke 250

The 250 gets a similar stance to that of the 200, but the graphics have been reworked. The bike is powered by a 248.8cc engine that generates a power of 30 hp and a torque of 24 Nm. The bike’s main standout features are its LED headlights, digital instrument cluster, larger front disc brake (than the 200 model), Bosch ABS, WP suspensions, and13.4-litre fuel tank capacity.

KTM 250 Duke price in Nepal

Duke 390

The 390 is the most powerful bike in the Duke series. Powering the bike is a 373cc engine–mated to a six-speed–that is capable of generating 43 hp of power and a torque of 37 Nm. 

The bike comes with additional features such as a slipper clutch, ride-by-wire system, 13.5-litre fuel tank, clutch and brake levers, larger TFT colour display, supermoto mode, Quickshifter system, and spin adjuster. Furthermore, the model gets higher ground clearance and seat height.
