2022-version of KTM RC200 launched at Rs 6.75 lakh

Hansraj Hulaschand & Company Pvt. Ltd, the authorised distributor of KTM motorcycles, has launched the 2022 model of KTM RC200. The new sport-fairing bike has seen a major change to its graphics, but the mechanics remain the same. The bike has been offered in two colour options: Dark Galvano and Silver Metallic, at a price of Rs 6.75 lakh.


Design and features

The new RC200 gets a MOTOGP inspired bodywork and comes with new LED headlamps with integrated DRLs and indicators, redesigned windshield, adjustable handlebars, foldable mirrors, wet-resistant seat cover, and aluminium grab handles.

The bike gets a bigger LCD cluster, larger fuel tank (13.7 litres), and thicker seats than its predecessor’s. Furthermore, the bike comes with dual-channel ABS with an option for deactivating the rear ABS.


Engine

The RC200 gets no mechanical changes. The new bike’s power continues to come from the 199.5cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine tuned to produce 25 bhp at 10000 rpm and 19.2 Nm of peak torque at 8000 rpm. The motor is paired with a six-speed transmission.
