LAUNCHED: FORD ECOSPORT PLATIUM EDITION

GO Automobiles Pvt. Ltd has introduced a special edition of its popular compact SUV – Ecosport. Called as the Platinum Edition, the special edition features a host of technology and features. In Nepal it has been priced at Rs 51.90 lakhs for the TDCi 1.5L diesel engine powertrain. In Nepal, only the 1.5L diesel engine is on offer.

Cosmetic upgrades on the Ford EcoSport Platinum Edition include a dual tone exteriordesign, featuring a black roof, bigger 17-inch wheels, wider tyres with brand new alloys as well new rear and front bumper appliques.

The EcoSport Platinum Edition has received a mild interior upgrade too. The interior gets a swanky 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that allows users to control several features, including music and video playback. The new infotainment system features Satellite Navigation system as well as a rear view camera to improve customer convenience.

The new Platinum Edition is based on the Titanium+ trim of the EcoSport. Apart from the features of the Titanium+ trim, it also gets Cruise Control that boosts the compact SUV’s well established fun-to-drive credentials.Safety features include ABS, EBD and six airbags for an enhanced level of protection for the driver and as well passengers. According to official Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) reports, the diesel EcoSport boasts an overall fuel efficiency rating of 22.7 KMPL.
