LAUNCHED IN NEPAL: ALL-NEW FORD ENDEAVOUR

Set to redefine the SUV segment, Ford Nepal has launched the All-New Ford Endeavour – its technologically advanced, stunningly capable, refined and safe seven-seat SUV in Nepal, in three variants.While the base variant is priced at Nrs  10,200,000, the range-topping model cost Nrs 11, 900,000. Led by Ford’s Asia Pacific design and product development teams, the new Ford Endeavour is based on Everest concept, which was unveiled in Australia in 2013. The new model which is loaded with several high end features will replace the second generation Endeavour.fordendeavournepallaunch1The third generation Endeavour is available with two diesel engine options from Ford’s globally-proven Duratorq family -a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder TDCi and a 3.2-litre, 5-cylinder TDCi, mated to durable and efficient six-speed automatic or manual transmissions. The 2.2 litre engine is capable of producing 158bhp of power and 385Nm of torque, and is available with both rear wheel and all-wheel drive options. The bigger 3.2L makes maximum power of 197bhp and a peak torque of 470Nm. The automatic transmission on the new Endeavour features advanced driver recognition software. This allows the transmission to adapt to the current driving style by analysing acceleration and deceleration rates, brake and throttle applications, as well as cornering speed.fordendeavournepallaunch2The all-new Ford Endeavour has been designed from the ground up. The robust front fascia with signature LED daytime running lights, trapezoidal chrome grille, stylish fog lamps and wide stance provides the SUV an imposing yet extremely functional outlook.fordendeavournepallaunch4Complementing the robust looks, the side flank gets muscular wheel arches, slightly inclined roofline and raked windows. At the rear, the new Endeavour features horizontal wraparound tail-lamps and large chrome bar.fordendeavournepallaunch3On the inside, the all-new Ford Endeavour gets a plush, modern and practical interior that provides a comfortable environment for up to seven adult occupants. The practical interior design has over 30 cleverly positioned storage spaces, multiple power outlets and flexible seating and cargo arrangements – including fold-flat second- and first-in-class power-fold third-row that instantly flattens at the touch of a button. With all the rear seats folded, the all-new Ford Endeavour can hold up to 2,010 litres of cargo. It also features Electric Panoramic Sunroof, a segment first, that opens up to the first two seating rows.fordendeavournepallaunch5The all-new Ford Endeavour comes packed with a wide array of intuitive and practical technologies that make the rugged seven-seat SUV one of the smartest vehicles in its segment. Beginning with the next generation of Ford’s globally renowned in-car connectivity technology – SYNC 2, a segment-first feature that allows drivers to use simple voice commands to control the car’s entertainment system, set cabin temperature and connect mobile devices more easily than ever before. The entertainment system features a first-in-class 10-speaker sound system with an integrated subwoofer, multi-functional steering wheel, 8-way adjustable front seats, power adjustable third row seats and Ambient lighting. The new Endeavour also has Terrain Management System that offers four driving modes- Snow, Mud, Grass and Rock.fordendeavournepallaunch6Talking about dimensions,  the all-new Endeavour measures 4,892 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, 1,837 mm in height, has a 2,850 mm wheelbase and a ground clearance of 225 mm. Moreover,  Ford claims that the Endeavour has a water wading capacity of 800 mm and a fuel tank capacity of 80 liters.fordendeavournepallaunch7Safety features on the all-new Endeavour include front airbags, side curtain airbags, driver knee airbags, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), EBA (Emergency Brake Assist), ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic BrakeForce Distribution), Front Parking System, Active Park Assist, Roll Stability Control and Blind Spot Information System with Cross Traffic Alert.

The all-new Ford Endeavour is available in three variants with six colour options and is available for bookings at Ford Nepal’s showroom.
