LAUNCHED IN INDIA: RENAULT KWID EASY-R AMT
Posted On: November 16, 2016 By : AutoLife TeamRenault India has launched the Kwid 1.0-L Easy-R AMT in the Indian market at a very attractive pricing of INR 4.25 lakhs. The first-in-segment AMT is only available in the top-end RxT (O) grade. The Easy-R gear box can be operated with an innovative shift control dial that will be positioned below the infotainment system on the centre console. The Innovative Shift Control Dial with three modes Reverse – Neutral – Drive has been smartly designed for ease of use.
Powering the car is a 999cc three-cylinder SCe engine paired with a 5-speed Easy-R AMT. The engine makes 67bhp of peak power and 91Nm of peak torque.Renault claims a fuel efficiency of 24.04 km/l, slightly more fuel efficient than the manual variant.
Apart from several active and passive safety equipment, the Renault Kwid AMT takes safety to the next level by offering first-in-class pro-sense seat-belt pretensioners with load limiters, an important safety feature that is usually offered in upper segment cars. Other features on the Kwid AMT include a touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and fully digital instrument cluster.
