LAUNCHED IN NEPAL: HONDA CB HORNET 160R

Ltd., sole authorized distributor of Honda Motorcycles and scooters for Nepal, have launched the Honda CB Hornet 160R motorcycle in the Nepali market at a starting price of Rs 2,60,900The bike was launched in an event organized at Royal Beach Camp, Kurintar amidst media invitees and delegates from HMSI (Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India). Senior Vice President of HMSI Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Export Sales Officer Mr. Puneet Sharma and Advisor Mr. Noaki Suiko were the delegates who attended the event from HMSI.
Powering the CB Hornet 160R is the same 163cc, air-cooled, single cylinder engine that makes 15.66 bhp @ 8500 rpm, while maximum torque is 14.76 Nm @ 6500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Specially designed to deliver good low end torque, the advanced engine also achieves a compression ratio of 10:1, delivering the right punch of power. Further, the CB Hornet 160R’s engine is equipped with a counter balancer to reduce the vibrations produced in engine. It delivers a smooth acceleration from low RPM to high RPM. The bike is also equipped with Honda’s HET (Honda Eco Technology) to deliver extra torque & super mileage.
The CB Hornet 160R highlights include a sharp and edgy headlight with two position lamps, upward facing side indicators, x-shaped LED tail light, a digital speedometer looks similar to that on the CB Unicorn 160.
The CB Hornet 160R comes fitted with a MF battery which is completely maintenance free and leakage proof. Also a Viscous Paper Air filter that requires replacement only after 18000 km and does not require maintenance, makes CB Hornet 160R more suitable for effortless usage.
The CB Hornet 160 R measures 2041 mm long, 783 mm wide, 1067 mm high,with a wheelbase of 1345 mm and a ground clearance of 164mm. The bike’s fuel tank capacity is 12 litres.
Available in five shades i.e. Pearl night star black, pearl siren blue, neo orange metallic, sports red and pearl amazing white. The suspension at the front is telescopic whereas rear has a monoshock suspension. The tuning of the motorcycle is done so as to provide power and comfort during the ride.
