Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd, the sole authorized distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal, has launched the Tigor in the Nepalese market.  The subcompact sub-4 metre sedan comes in four variants – XE, XT, XZ and XZ (O). Prices for the Tigor petrol start at an introductory Rs 23,45,000 with the top-spec variant priced at Rs 29,95,000.

The Tigor is the 3rd vehicle to be based on the company’s IMPACT design philosophy. It shares much of its aesthetics and engine with its hatchback sibling, the Tiago, but Tata has opted for a more coupe-like roofline and new rear doors, branded by the company as ‘StyleBack’.  The Tigor is smartly designed on the outside with smoked projector headlamps, LED tail lamp and stylishly integrated high mounted LED stop lamp.

On the inside, the Tigor is well designed with superior legroom and 24 utility spaces to provide ample storage to carry one’s world along.  It also gets the  Connectnext Touchscreen Infotainment system by Harman™, a rear centre armrest with integrated cupholders, a new auto climate control system and a reverse camera.

The petrol Tata Tigor gets the same 1.2 litre, three cylinder motor from the Tiago that makes 84 bhp of peak power and 114 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Safety features include dual airbags, ABS & EBD with CSC (Corner stability control) & reverse park assist with camera

The Tigor will come in six colour options – Copper Dazzle , Espresso Brown , Pearlescent White , Platinum Silver , Striker Blue and Berry Red. The Tigor is available for booking across the country.
