LAUNCHED: YAMAHA M-SLAZ IN THAILAND

Yamaha has officially launched the M-SLAZ 150 or MT-15 street-fighter motorcycle at the Thailand International Motor Expo, priced at 89,500 Thai Baht (Nrs 2.66 lakh). The M-SLAZ 150 is the roadster version of the popular YZF-R15. It is powered by the same 149.8 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine with SOHC and 4 valves engine as seen in the YZF-R15. yamahaslaz1024zThe M-SLAZ was developed based on the concept of “Just Size Ultimate Fashion Street Extreme”.The engine and chassis have been developed off the platform of the sports model YZF-R15 which has won popularity in the Asia region to provide new dynamic styling concentrated around power as well as superior maneuvering agility.yamahamslaz1024The main features of the M-SLAZ are: 1) High-rigidity inverted front suspension that achieves a superior riding performance 2) Fun-focused upright riding position for urban use, 3) External design based on a “Street Extreme” image, 4) A LED headlight with an advanced and minimalist presence and much more. ym4yamahamslazinstrumentym2ym1Yamaha has announced no plans of introducing the M-Slaz in the Indian or Nepali market.
