Manchester United Edition Chevrolet Beat And Sail Lunched In India

General Motors India Private Limited has launched a Manchester United limited edition version of Chevrolet Beat and SAIL hatchbacks to celebrate a seven-year t-shirt sponsorship contract with the football team.

The limited edition hatches will get Manchester United decals, alloy wheels, special seat covers, music system, illuminated sill plates, OSRVM’s with blinkers, rood rails and other exclusive branding.

The Beat is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that is capable of producing 81 bhp of power and 108 Nm of torque, while the diesel variant is powered by a 1.0-litre engine capable of producing 59 bhp of power and 150 Nm of torque. Similarly, the Sail U-VA gets a 1.2-litre petrol motor producing 86 bhp of power and 113 Nm of torque as well as a 1.3-litre diesel unit producing 78 bhp of power and 205 Nm of torque. Both the models come with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Both these limited edition hatches will be available on the LS variant and they will cost INR 69,000 more than the current ones.
