MAW Launches Yamaha Alpha

MAW Enterprises, the sole authorized distributor of Yamaha motorcycles and scooters in Nepal, has launched the Yamaha Alpha scooter in the domestic market. The unisex scooter has the same 113cc air-cooled 4-stroke two-valve single cylinder engine which powers the Ray scooters. The engine makes 7 bhp of power and 8.1 Nm of toque. The 104 kg scooter gets 130 mm drum brakes for the front and rear with no disc brake option. A large leg space of 250 mm is available in the scooter. According to the company, the scooter comes with a tagline of ‘The Most Comfortable Scooter’. The scooter is available in five color options including Magical Magenta, Graceful Grey, Radiant White, Brilliant Black and Fiery Red.
