Maxus set to debut in Nepal with the launch of the T60 pickup

Maxus is set to debut in Nepal with the launch of a new pickup—the T60. The T60 is a mid-range double-cabin pickup powered by a 2.8-litre diesel engine. Paramount Motors, the authorised distributors, might launch the T6 pickup ahead of the upcoming festive season.

Design 

The Maxus T60 gets the same styling as a conventional double-cabin pickup. However, the pickup comes with a wide front grille with vertical lines and a centrally embedded brand logo. For lighting, the pickup might come with adaptive LED headlights ith DRLs, fog lamps, and LED rear lights.

The T60 measures 5365 mm long, 1900 mm wide, and 1809 mm tall, and its wheelbase and ground clearance are 3155 mm and 215 mm, respectively. The pickup will stand on 17-inch alloy wheels. 

The double-cabin pickup comes with a five seater configuration (includes a six-way adjustable driver seat and four-way adjustable front passenger seat), allowing 1188 litres of open cargo bed. On the dashboard will be a leather-wrapped steering wheel with control buttons, and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system (compatible with Android Auto and Apple Carplay).


Engine and specifications 

The T60 is powered by a 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine that generates a power of 150 hp and a torque of 360 Nm. The engine will be mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The two- or four-wheel drive model will come with three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Power.

Features 

The double-cabin lifestyle pickup might be offered with a plethora of convenience features such as an automatic AC, keyless entry and start, push-start button, height-adjustable steering wheel, cruise control, and rain-sensing wipers, among others.

As for safety, the double-cabin pick up might come with safety features such as four airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill start-assist system, traction-control system, electronic brake assist, rear parking sensor, and reverse camera. 


Maxus T60 price in Nepal

The price for the Maxus T60 is yet to be revealed. However, fans can expect the mid-range pickup to cost around Rs 75 lakh, rivaling the likes of Isuzu V-cross and Changan Hunter.
