Let’s get into MG’s new offering in Nepal:

Design

The new ZS EV looks more like an EV now than it used to–thanks to the makeover to the front fascia. The bumper has been redesigned and the traditional grille has been replaced by a conventional EV-type grille (it gets the same paint as the body) that features a centrally located MG logo and charging port on its right.

Moreover, the lights on both ends, the rear bumper, and the wheels have been redesigned.

On the interior, the EV comes equipped with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is compatible with both Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

Battery and Performance

The facelift version comes with two battery options: 51kWh and 73kWh.

The EV powered by the 51kWh battery takes eight hours to charge via a 7kW charger, and via a 50kW and 100kW charger, the EV can go from 0-80% in 54 minutes and 36 minutes, respectively. The EV provides a range of 319 km on a single charge.

The ZS EV long range (powered by a 73kWh battery) normally takes 10.5 hours to charge (via a 7kW charger), and takes 1 hour 3 minutes and 42 minutes to charge from 0-80% via the 50kW and 100kW fast chargers. Furthermore, on a full charge, the long-range EV provides a range of 440 km.
