MV Agusta to enter Moto 2

After more than 40 years, the Italian manufacturer is set to return to the world championship. This year MV Augusta will enter Moto 2 platform in the collaboration with Cuzari’s team.

It was in 1976, when MV Agusta won its last race in the world championship at the Nurburgring with the rider who proved to be the brand’s most famous ambassador, Giacomo Agostini. The Italian manufacturer then left the racing world, after the 1976 season when the company hit financial difficulties.

And now, this 2018, the MV Agusta will race in the Moto2™ World Championship with Forward Racing Team. The first prototype that will run in the Moto2™ World Championship is already in an advanced stage of development, with their track debut set for July 2018.
